Faith Moves Catering was born from resilience, love, and the belief that food heals. Founder Tameka Pleas began cooking at a young age but turned that passion into purpose when she became a mother with the desire to be a hands-on parent. Through her food, she brings comfort, connection, and joy to every table she serves.
In Loving Memory of My Mother
Faith Moves Catering is dedicated to the life, heart, and legacy of my mother a woman who, despite her struggles, had the purest soul and the biggest heart. She taught me what it means to love deeply, to serve others selflessly, and to give even when you have little.
Every meal I prepare, every life I touch, is done in her honor. This journey is my way of continuing the work she started—spreading kindness, care, and compassion through simple acts of service. Her strength lives in me, and her legacy lives on through Faith Moves Catering.

At Faith Moves Catering, our mission is to nourish not only the body but also the heart and soul through food made with love, purpose, and care. We are dedicated to serving our community with high-quality, home-style meals that create moments of connection, comfort, and joy.
Rooted in compassion and lived experience, we proudly Care for Caregivers, an initiative close to founder Tameka Pleas’s heart, inspired by her own experience caring for her mother through mental and physical illness. An initiative that honors and uplifts those who care for others. Through this program, we provide meals, wellness support, and restorative services because caregivers deserve the same love they so selflessly give.
Faith Moves Catering exists to feed people in every sense of the word physically, emotionally, and spiritually while giving back to those who are often overlooked. We believe food is a love language, and through every meal, we speak healing, hope, and humanity into the lives we touch.
